Booking Terms and Conditions of Use

Room Rates

Our rates start from £40.00 per person per night on a bed and breakfast basis. Family rooms start from £99.00 (based on 2 adults and one child under 12 years) Single occupancy surcharges apply in the case of less than two adults staying in a double/twin/family room. Details on request. Double Superior rooms start from £88.00 all room rates are inclusive of VAT at the current rate.

Bookings

Bookings must be guaranteed by a credit or debit card. A 'booking' means any order for our products or services that is accepted by us. Acceptance will be made by us (and a contract concluded) There is no agent involved in this booking process; the contract is concluded between you as the Customer and us as the Business. Confirmation of a booking by the Client is deemed acceptance of these terms

Arrival and departure

Bedrooms are available as indicated. Our check in is from 16:00 to 22.00 Check in times outside of those specified must be confirmed with us prior to arrival. Check out time is 10:30.

Amendments to your booking

when the booking is confirmed, a reservation number will be supplied. This must be retained in the event of cancellation or amendment. An e mail of conformation will be sent for your conformation. Any amendments or cancellations made will have a separate number as conformation of the cancelled or amended booking. To amend your booking, simply call. +44(0)1929 421383 Cancellation charges apply where applicable.

Cancellations

If your reservation is cancelled or in the event of non-arrival, no refund will be given, unless we are able to re let the room. In which case a 15% administration will be charged. Normal terms of payment apply to these charges.

Payment

Most major credit and debit cards are accepted including AMEX (NOT FOR ON LINE). Full card details will be taken at time of booking. Sums are due for payment on presentation of the invoice at checkout. Payments made by credit card will be subject to a 2% booking fee. No additional fee will be taken for debit card payments or cash. In the event of any query relating to the invoice, the Client must notify us within 14 days of the invoice date and the Client's obligation to pay all outstanding balances immediately will not be affected.

Conditions of Use

In these terms of business, the expression 'Accommodation' means the Accommodation operated by the Accommodation defined in the Client's confirmation -and 'Client' means the person, firm or company making a booking or staying at the Accommodation. These terms apply to all bookings except to the extent where specific terms apply for a particular booking.

Availability

In the rare case that the Accommodation cannot accept a booking, guests will be offered a full refund. In the case of an act of God (strike, war, etc), the Accommodation will do its utmost to find an alternative accommodation in another accommodation but will not be held responsible if this is not possible.

Car parking

We do not have a car park. There is unrestricted street parking opposite and to the rear of the guesthouse. There is also a large long stay car park 3 minutes walk from the guesthouse.

Insurance

Children

Children under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult to ensure that the children's behaviour is appropriate for other guests within the Accommodation. Children of all ages welcome. 

Dogs and other pets

Pets are not accepted at the accommodation. In the instance when a guest arrives with a pet, the accommodation reserves the right to terminate the booking without being liable for any refund or compensation. We do accept guide dogs. Owners have own dogs.

Smoking

Smoking is prohibited in the building or front porch. The Accommodation reserves the right to terminate the booking in the event of failure or suspicion of failure to comply with this request without being liable for any refund or compensation.

Behaviour

The Accommodation reserves the right to judge acceptable levels of noise or behaviour of Clients, guests or representatives, who must take all steps for corrective action as requested by the Accommodation. In the event of failure to comply with management requests, the Accommodation may terminate the booking or stop any event immediately without being liable for any refund or compensation. We would ask guest not to consume ‘Take Away’ food in the bedrooms, the dining room is available on request.

Discrimination

It is the policy of the Accommodation not to discriminate on the grounds of race, colour, nationality, creed, sex, marital status, age, ethnic origin or disability. Clients, their employees, guests and all sub-contractors engaged by or on behalf of the Client are expected to adhere to this policy and the Accommodation may, without incurring any liability to the Client, remove from the Accommodation any person or persons offending against this policy.  

Comments and complaints and reviews

Any comment or complaint regarding the stay should be made in writing within 14 days to the accommodation. All information concerning the Accommodation, including but not limited to descriptions, availability and pricing has been provided and is controlled by the accommodation.

Guest feed back is extremely important to us and taken very seriously and your reviews are most welcome, but due to security net work protocols any review posted during your stay using our WIFI connection will not be posted and deemed as fraudulent. So please list any reviews from your own servers or net work provider.

Statutory requirements

The Accommodation is subject to statutory controls, including those relating to fire, licensing, entertainment, health, hygiene and safety. These must be strictly observed by Clients, their guests and representatives.

Liability

Other than for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Accommodation, the Accommodation's liability to the Client is limited to the price of the booking. Unless the Accommodation is liable under the above clause, the Client indemnifies the Accommodation from and against any and all liability and any claims, proceedings or damages resulting or arising from the booking, event or function, the Client, guests or any outside contractors of the Client. The Accommodation will not be liable for failure to perform to the extent that the failure is caused by any factor beyond its reasonable control.

Clients are responsible for any damage caused to the allocated rooms, furnishings, utensils and equipment in them by any act, omission, default or neglect of the Clients, their guests or sub-contractors and will pay to the Accommodation on demand the amount required to make good or remedy any such damage.

Data protection

The information provided by the Client may be processed by the accommodation for the purposes it has notified to the Information Commissioner. By confirming the booking, the Client consents to this processing of the information.
